York SCORE must continually revitalize our membership and increase membership diversity by
recruiting new members with business & people skills.
This includes small business owners and managers (of large or small businesses) who are willing
to volunteer their time to help entrepreneurs in York and Adams Counties.

While most of our members are semi-retired, some still continue to work.
Most of our members volunteer 8 hours a month to SCORE activities.
Some volunteer more.  We offer you continuing business training emphasizing recent developments
and new methods.

SCORE members help make the York Chapter a business resource leader in York & Adams Counties
through a variety of efforts.  In addition to team counseling and mentoring small business entrepreneurs,
we offer an extensive library of business resource material that must be maintained.
Our workshops require a combination of organization and public speaking skills.
Our client files are updated daily.
York SCORE uses three networked computers with current Windows operating systems and
office applications software that need occasional nurturing.
